Mr. Igor Aronovich - owns M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Chernovtsy National University, Ukraine, 1993. He also owns M.E. degree in Business Administration from Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology, Cum Laude, 2003. In 2008 he received an Excellence Award from SEEEI for graduated project from Ariel University dealing with Power System Modeling.  In 2013 he received the IEC CEO Excellence Award for Implementation of "Line Pack usage in daily Power  Generation" saving to Israeli energy market more than 20 million  $ of yearly payments.  He is working for more than 20 years for IEC in different key positions. Since 2014 Igor has been holding the position of the Head of IPP and Market Operations Unit and responsible for the overall integration of all Independent Power Producers (CCGT, cogeneration, renewables - PV & wind, concentrated thermo solar; pump storage, GT technologies) into the Grid from the kick- off of new power plants till their full commercial operations.

Igor is also in charge of the Electricity Market Operations in Israel managing today the overall turnover of IPP trades for more than 4 billion NIS.

Before his last position has performed different positions in IEC – Deputy & Operations Manager at System operator, LNG project Manager where he was responsible for successful third world buoy LNG vessel connection and operation bringing Liquid Gas to Power Generation industry in critical period; Smart Grid Initiative Operations Manager and others. He was responsible for IEC Gas & Electricity system operations, managed Initiations for Progress and Performance of Power System projects like EMS, SCADA, DMS Project implementation, Power System Project Risk Management , Power Market Optimization and Billing tools, etc.

Igor is a national regular member in CIGRE Study Committee C2 - Power System Control and Operation. In 2016 and 2018 he presented the Large Disturbances issues on Paris CIGRE conferences for audience of more than 90 countries. He is an active member of number CIGRE Working Groups dealing with renewable energy penetration, system dynamics and inertia, market operations, demand forecast and others.

Igor is active member of SEEEI since 2007, published number of scientific papers.

Igor is bearer of the Electrical Professional Engineering license.
