Dr. Aharon Bar-Dov

Bar-Dov Engineering & Management

Dr. Bar-Dov is the founder and CEO of 'Bar-Dov Engineering & Management Ltd'. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Newport University, Uthah, USA, and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical Institute, Lvov, USSR.
 
Dr. Bar-Dov has a technical and managerial expertise in infrastructures and energy projects,  including power plants, power grids, natural gas, water and sewage. Aharon lead large and complicated projects including real estate and Utilities. He managed large organizations, such as, financial, marketing, commercial, logistics, and personnel. Dr. Bar-Dov was on the board of several companies.  Involved in business ventures in Israel and abroad. He worked for the Israel Electrical Corporation where he held the position of VP Construction. 
 
Dr. Bar-Dov is the chair of the Renewable Energy chapter at SEEEI.

Summary

The session will focus on connection surveys and programming surveys and their implications for the possibility of establishing private power plants.

 

Kobi Peretz from the Yani Planning Office and Barak Reshef from Mapat - Hachi, will each present the issue from their point of view for the process.

 

After the lectures, there will be a discussion with the participation of representatives: NPT, the planner, the Electricity Authority, the Ministry of Energy, conventional private power plants and renewable energies.

In the course of the discussion, we will analyze the problems that currently exist on these issues, and respectively what and how can be improved.
